We would like to notify you of a Personal Property rate change, applicable to Economical Homeowners and Seasonal Homeowners policies.
The rate change comes into effect on the following dates:
After a recent actuarial review, this change became necessary due to deteriorating loss ratios and trends over the past 12 months. It will result in a premium increase for all policies; however, the amount will vary based on territory and risk profile.
Despite this change, Economical will still rank in the marketplace as the most competitive option in 25% of the quotes completed.
For the past 2 years, we have enjoyed very competitive Homeowners premiums with record setting new business activity. We have confidence that the Economical Homeowners product will continue to be a highly attractive option for your client.
